Exceptional Learning, Nurturing Care, and Bright Futures.
Where Curiosity Grows!
About Us
Little Echidna Early Learning Centre is proudly family owned and operated. We are a husband and wife team raising three young children of our own. As parents, we understand how significant the choice of early learning is and how important it is for children to feel safe, supported, and a sense of belonging from the very beginning.
We are committed to creating a warm and thoughtful learning environment that celebrates each child’s individuality, nurtures their strengths, and supports a lifelong love of learning. We provide the highest quality of care alongside meaningful and engaging learning experiences that encourage children to grow with confidence and curiosity.
As a small centre for just 39 children, we offer a truly personal approach to early learning. Our educators form close, trusting relationships with children and families, allowing for consistent care and a deep understanding of each child’s needs.
We value genuine partnerships with families and believe open and ongoing communication is essential in supporting each child’s unique journey and development.

Learning
At Little Echidna Early Learning Centre, learning is shaped by play, curiosity, and children’s natural interests. Our programs are designed to meet children at their stage of development, allowing them to explore, create, and learn in ways that feel purposeful, enjoyable, and meaningful.
Our educators carefully observe each child and design experiences that extend their thinking and skills. Through everyday interactions and intentional teaching, children develop communication, independence, emotional awareness, and strong social skills, building a confident foundation for their transition to primary school.
Consistent routines, familiar educators, and inclusive practices help create a secure environment where every child feels known, supported, and valued. When children feel a strong sense of belonging, they are empowered to explore, grow, and thrive.
